Polling to foster active learning in cognitive neuroscience class

3:41

Deborah Husbands, Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster, discusses ways to use live polling in class to engage and interact with students. Students use their mobile phones or laptops to submit their responses directly, and the results are displayed in real time as they come in. Evaluations show that this increased interactivity has improved understanding and retention.
